Healthy Apple Cider Bread

Course Dessert

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup of all purpose flour
  • ½ cup of brown sugar
  • 3 teaspoons of baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ¾ cup of pressed apple juice (you can use store bought too)
  • cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup of apples, peeled cored and finely diced
  • ½-3/4 cup of apple pulp (you may be able to get away with apple sauce here)

Instructions
 

  • Heat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Grease bottom of your bread pan.
  • In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Mix well.
  • In a small bowl, combine apple juice, oil and egg. Blend well.
  • Add dry ingredients all at once to the wet, stirring until just combined (batter will be lumpy)
  • Stir in chopped apples and apple pulp.
  • Fill your bread pan.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Cool for a few minutes before removing from pan. Wonderful served warm!
