Combine all the ingredients into a sauce pot and turn on your stove to medium-low heat.
Heat the ingredients, for 15-30 minutes so the ingredients have time to seep into each other.
Fish out the cloves and discard them. Pour the cider into coffee mugs and garnish with the cinnamon sticks!
